1. Welcome to GuessMyTier
GuessMyTier (“GuessMyTier”, “we”, “us”, “the service”) is a community-run website where users watch Minecraft PvP 1.9+ clips and guess each player's competitive tier. By accessing or using the service you agree to these Terms of Service (“Terms”).
2. Acceptance of Terms
By creating an account, submitting content, or otherwise using the service, you confirm that you have read, understood, and accept these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
3. No Accounts; Anonymous Use
GuessMyTier does not require an account. You can play and submit clips anonymously. You remain responsible for the accuracy and legality of any information or content you provide, and for complying with these Terms while using the service.
4. Intellectual Property
The GuessMyTier name, logo, design, code, and original content are owned by GuessMyTier or its contributors and are protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, redistribute, or build derivative commercial products from the GuessMyTier UI, code, or branding without prior written permission.
5. Uploading Content
When you submit a clip, you represent and warrant that (a) you have all the rights necessary to submit it, (b) the clip does not infringe any third-party rights, (c) it complies with the Submission Rules, and (d) the information you provide about the clip (tier, gamemode, credited name, etc.) is accurate to the best of your knowledge.
6. License Granted by the User
By submitting a clip, you grant GuessMyTier a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, sub-licensable, and transferable license to host, store, reproduce, transcode, format, display, edit for formatting and length, promote, and distribute the submitted content on or through the service, including on related social channels operated by GuessMyTier.
7. Right to Display and Monetize
GuessMyTier may monetize the service through advertising, sponsorships, premium features, or partnerships, including alongside or in connection with submitted content. No payment is owed to submitters or featured players. If you do not consent to this, do not submit content.
8. Content Copyright and Third-Party Rights
You remain responsible for the legal status of any clip you submit. If you upload content that includes third-party material (music, overlays, footage) you confirm that you have the rights or licenses to do so. Copyright holders may contact us to request takedowns; see the contact section below.
9. Clip Submission Rules
Every submission must follow the rules shown on the submission page, including (without limitation): clip must come from a ranked competitive match, be between 15 and 120 seconds, be at least 720p, must not be misleading, and must not be the result of smurfing. Failure to follow these rules may result in your submission being removed and your account being limited.
10. Moderation and Removal
We reserve the right to review, edit, reformat, refuse, or remove any content at any time, with or without notice, including content that violates these Terms, the Submission Rules, applicable law, or that we otherwise consider harmful to the community.
11. Reports and Enforcement
Users may report clips for issues such as wrong tier, misleading footage, smurfing, low quality, copyright problems, or offensive content. Abusive reporting (mass reports, automated reports, bad-faith reports) is itself a violation of these Terms.
12. Prohibited Behavior
You agree not to: upload fraudulent or misleading clips, smurf, attempt to break or bypass moderation, upload malware, spam the service, harass other users, attempt to access non-public parts of the service, or use the service for any illegal purpose.
13. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated through the service. Continued use of GuessMyTier after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
14. Privacy Policy
Your use of the service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes what information we collect and how we use it.
15. Minors
Users under the age of majority in their jurisdiction must have the consent of a parent or legal guardian to use the service or submit content.
16. Disclaimer and Limitation of Liability
The service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law, GuessMyTier disclaims all warranties and shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or in connection with your use of the service.
